We live in Claremore and our home was seriously damaged in the tornado on May 25, 2024. We were in our New Day shelter which is in our garage. We could hear the tornado approaching and then the banging and sounds of our home being hit. But although we could feel the shelter vibrating slightly it never moved. When we opened the door we could see damage to our roof and could see 2 large trees on the house as we looked up. Also had significant water damage inside. But although shaken, we were safe.
